We’re grateful that you’re interested in holding a Dignity Drive to collect hygiene products for Giving the Basics! By collecting items for us to distribute, you make it possible to eliminate humiliation, promote learning and offer hope to thousands in our community.
Why are product drives so important?
There is absolutely no question that your dignity drive makes life better for your fellow community members. Every single item that you collect will soon be in the hands of a person in need. Giving the Basics relies on the generous contributions of our metro area to fulfill this essential offering. Your group will make a BIG difference!

Monday: No More Bad Hair Day - Tame your locks.hair brushes, combs, shampoo, or conditioner.
Tuesday: The Unmentionables - Keep the privates clean. feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, baby wipes, incontinence pads, etc.
Wednesday: Clean Sweep - Make our cribs sparkle.dish soap, toilet bowel cleaner, Clorox wipes, etc.
Thursday: Dang Girl, You Smell Fine - Freshen up.body wash, soap and deodorant.
Friday: Show Off Your Grill - Make the enamel shine.toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, etc.

Information about Dignity Drives
Visit our Donate Personal Care Items page to see what products we regularly need and which are currently our most in-demand products.
Giving the Basics can provide barrels for you to collect products in. We suggest having the barrels dropped 2-3 days before your product drive. We will pick up your barrels the day following your product drive.
If desired, we can send a representative from Giving the Basics to visit your organization and share information about the mission and impact of the organization (typically a 5-10 minute talk but can be customized).
If you wish to extend your product drive, please contact us. We have volunteers to sort your product drive, but if you would like, you can bring your team down to the warehouse to sort, count and case your drive.
